Replacement of Existing Technology

Current server implementation is a test setup using old equipment. (The Windows terminal server actually provides new capabilities.) The B2 Spice license replaces a very outdated product.

Upgrade University Computer Lab in KOM 350-351-360 with adequate servers and current software. This lab complex serves undergraduate students in all CSCI classes plus many other students. Servers will provide DNS, DHCP, Windows installation, user storage, operating system patches, security/virus updates and more. Windows terminal (remote desktop) server will effectively provide 24x7 student access to lab software from any location. B2 Spice is used by all CSCI 3130 students, approximately 30 per semester.
