Portable computer lab—Consists of 30 wireless laptops that fit into a rechargeable cart. The portable computer lab will allow faculty to utilize the wireless capabilities of Peck Hall and facilitate the student use of computers into the curriculum. This arrangement would be ideal for faculty that enjoy teaching periodically but not entirely with computers. The portability aspect maximizes the number of faculty that can incorporate technology without adding demonstration labs. Potentially, the number of demonstration labs could be reduced with the labs being redesigned as regular classrooms or much needed office space. The benefit of the portable computer lab extends to both pedagogy and efficient use of facilities.
