Provide Necessary Software in lab and classroom and Equipment to Students enrolled in Music classes: They are: (1.)Strobe Center 5000 is a high tech strobe tuner for use in WMB 173 for students to tune instruments and chords. Courses using it are MUEN 3100; 3110 , 5312, 3120, 3300, 5330 and others. (2.)Auralia is an advanced ear training software that students will use in the lab and professors can use in the classroom to practice Music Theory ear training. Courses using it are MUTH 1110; 1120; 2110; 2120. (3.)Musition is a Theory learning and testing software for written notation. Courses using it are the same as previous. (4.)Reason 2.5 is advanced software that allows student enrolled in composition and arranging classes to realize their work. It provides a wide range of musical sounds and recording/mixing capabilities to students in MUAP 2342; 4342; 6140; 6150; 6160; and MUTH 4170; 4130; 4280; 5280. (5.)JAVA 3D interactive is a marching band drill software needed to teach MUED 3250 & 5250. (6.)Starclass labpak software will help music education majors teach music at elementary and primary schools. Classes using it would be MUED 3210, 3220, 4670, 5210, 5220, 5670, and 6010.
