Specialized statistics software site license purchase of SPSS 10, 25 user license. This software will be used directly by students in the Psy dept. laboratories, specifically the PH204, MAC computer laboratory. We require 16 copies of this software. The university currently does not have a site license for use of SPSS 10 on the MAC computer. Only a 10 or 25 user license is available through SPSS. We have very heavy demand for computer usage of this statistics software package, by students for classes and research purposes, that cannot currently be met by the number of copies of the software available in our PH205 PC computer lab (21 copies). Student usage: approximately 500 students per semester with multiple visits. Psy 302 (statistics) 130, Psy 628&629 (Graduate statistics) 80, Psy 307 (Research Methods) - 90, Psy 403L, 404L, 307L, 70, Psy 408 (Adv. Stat, new course) 15, Thesis analysis - 30. Method for determining usage. Class rosters over a number of semesters and polling thesis students and advisors.
