We are requesting funds for providing dual workstations in our computer classroom. The current teacher station is in the back of the classroom, and this configuration is appropriate for teaching certain computer applications. However, it does not work well for leading discussions and interacting with students - neither students nor faculty like the instructor lecturing from the back and not facing the students. Instead of a complete duplicate instructor workstation, we only need a cabinet, an additional PC, an additional AMX charger, computer interfacing cables, installation labor, and AMX programming. We also request that the Digital Document Camera be moved to the front workstation. All students in this classroom would benefit from the improved configuration. With the redesigned configuration, we anticipate that more accounting classes would be taught in this classroom and thus allow us to better utilize our existing facilities. Most of the students would be accounting students, but the room is used by other departments when we do not have it scheduled. Assuming 13 sections each fall and spring and 6 sections each summer with 30 students in each class, approximately 960 students would benefit annually
