This proposal combines three digital imaging areas across two departments: 1) The present digital video cameras and support gear used by EMC students were purchased by TAF funds in 1999. They are used each year by more than 300 majors in production areas. The Imac digital editing systems require software upgrades and licenses; 2) The digital imaging lab has expanded to include six additional sections of courses requiring the use of that lab. More digital cameras and a replacement projector are required to meet that demand; 3) The Digital Graphics lab now used by two departments needs additional font libraries and more digital cameras for student checkout to meet course demands.
