Three large Master Classrooms and one smaller classroom in the Mass Communication Building have obsolete and poorly functioning video and sound systems. They do not allow HDTV projection nor digital quality sound, an integral part of the Mass Comm (and perhaps other department) curriculum. This proposal equips those rooms with state-of-the-art HDTV video projection and Digital sound. It also adds room 150 to the Master Classroom inventory. These classrooms are used by Mass Comm classes and are also scheduled on a second priority by departments across the university.
