On a weekly basis, 11 University departments teach 31 different classes in the four classrooms in Forrest Hall. The daily average of students attending classes in Forrest Hall is 296. The only teaching aids in these classrooms are dry-erase boards, one of which also substitutes as a screen. The classrooms do not have projection or audio systems, window blackout shades, electric projection screens, AV equipment racks, or instructor workstations. We propose upgrading one classroom (FH205) into a standard Master Classroom (less computer), installing one LCD projector and one Visual Presenter in each of the three remaining classrooms (FH201, 203 and 204), and allocating remaining funds for minimal construction upgrades in the same three rooms, while remaining under the $100,000 TAF ceiling.
