SFA 301/303 Master classroom completion During 2006-2007 we received TAF funding for renovations of SFA 301 and 303 into master classrooms; both rooms were largely converted, but funding was not sufficient to complete the planned renovations. At the suggestion of Watson Harris, we are seeking funding to complete the renovations. The technology that we need to complete the conversion of SFA 301 and 303 includes: 1. Plasma Smartboards (originally planned for the space), and motorized blinds to help complete the technology and bring the classrooms up to the new standard. 2. New Wenger student musician furniture to replace the used furniture (supplied from the warehouse when funding ran out). The Wenger chairs are quickly convertible from standard student desks to music performance chairs, thus allowing for after-hours music rehearsals. 3. New ADA tables, chairs and stools to replace used furniture. 4. A new Steinway upright piano for SFA 301 to allow for proper music instruction and rehearsals. (MTSU is a designated all-Steinway university.)
