Computer Science Gigabit Ethernet Switch - This project will replace a Cisco 4006 Gigabit switch with additional blades for an Enterasys N7 switch installed in December 2006 as part of a FY 2006 TAF project. The switch to be replaced was purchased under a 2002 TAF project. A new switch will allow for application of advanced security policies and provide for higher speed trunking and clustering to support such applications as the Beowulf Cluster.
