Sociology/Anthropology requests renovation of PH319 into a master classroom. An average of 15 courses per semester are offered in the classroom, over half of which are general education courses serving the wider university community. With the addition of several new technologically proficient faculty in recent years, the technology available in the classroom does not meet their pedagogical needs. Over 450 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled each semester in anthropology, sociology, history, and English courses (including 80-85% of whom are fulfilling General Education requirements) would benefit from conversion of PH319.
