The ACTG department proposes to upgrade the BAS S260 master classroom. This classroom serves the entire university and it hosts classes from multiple departments in MTSU. The tiered classroom seats 70 students and serves 17 different classes per semester (the room has 73% seat utilization, hence an average of 2,482 students use this classroom annually). This room needs to be brought up to codes as the classroom has water damage from ceiling leaks. The classroom also needs technology upgrades as it still has the original projector – making it difficult for students seating in the back rows to read the text in the small projection screen.
