KOM 124 is a computer lab used by 16 READ 1000 classes (2009-2010). The course is a mixed lecture/lab course which meets for an hour 4 days per week. Approximately 300 students are enrolled in the course each year. While students have individual work stations for completing on-line exercises, there is no computer projection to assist with presentations of concepts or demonstrations of software to the entire class. This request is for portable master classroom equipment that can be used on lecture days and moved to the side or removed from the room when desk space at the front is needed during labs.
