This is a proposal from the Electronic Media Communication Department. The only classrooms in the Photography Building are being taken for use by doctoral graduate assistants for Basic and Applied Sciences. In order to replace the much needed classroom space to continue our experiential learning approach for student learning, we request that the existing remaining space in the Photography Building be reconfigured and equipped to insure that our students do not have their learning environment irreparably damaged. The reconfigured space will serve about 125 students per semester in our basic photography course that is not only an introductory course to the major but a service course to the MTSU community and all of our major photography courses. Also some upgrade to news writing classroom
