This proposal is to upgrade CKNB 106 to a fully functional master classroom. The following courses are regularly scheduled in CKNB 106 at all available times: MATH 1530, 1710, 1730, 1910, normally with maximum enrollment (672). Mathematics classes are now utilizing on-line resources (such as D2L, Webassign, MyMathLab) as well as mathematical software packages (such as MAPLE, Minitab, SAS, Scientific Notebook). The current setup with a nomad cart is inqadequate. Classroom seating is the original furnishing, and badly needs to be replaced. If this request is funded the Department would like to retain the nomad card for use in other classrooms as needed.
