The creation of the Student Media Center eliminated two classroom labs, Bragg 108 and 110. To provide adequate lab facilities, Bragg 270 is split into two teaching labs A and B with student equipment from the eliminated classrooms. For the labs to conform to university master classroom standards, each lab also needs updated teaching technology supplied by the master classroom carts. The two Journalism labs would service 400 students per week.
