This is a request from the College of Mass Communication. The new Mass Communication Media Center will be the center piece of the College of Mass Communication's effort to teach our students how to succeed in the new multimedia world of converged communications. This robotic television studio will offer our students the opportunity to operate in a digital High Definition world for current and future delivery systems needed for informational programming. Approximately 1,500 students from the School of Journalism, Department of Electronic Media Communication, and a number of Recording Industry will potentially benefit from this new state of the art video controlled environment that will allow them to prepare audio/visual communications for television, broadband, internet, and new evolving means of electronic communications.
