Funds are requested for: Line item 1): The RIA tax database provides access to IRS Code, Regulations, and court cases. Students use database for research and preparation for the CPA exam. Software used by over 200 undergraduate tax students and nearly 100 graduate tax students each year. Software essential for graduate Specialization in Tax Accounting. Line item 2:) The Aleks Access Codes are an integral part of our Intermediate Readiness Program. This program was recently cited in College of Business reaccreditation process as a "best practice". Access codes give about 300 accounting majors access to on-line tutorial that provides individualized instruction on the accounting cycle. Instruction is part of the review enrollment process for Intermediate Accounting I (ACTG 3110).
