Upgrade of Existing Technology
This project will replace Logic Analyzers in Microprocessor Lab that are over 14 years old as well as add additional stations to handle additional students.

Upgrading microprocessor, advanced, and networking labs. These labs handle over 150 student annually including students from within the ETIS department as well as students from other departments (Aerospace, Agribusiness/Agiscience, Computer Science,and Recording Industry). The microprocessor lab currently has four equipped, and two partially equipped student stations to handle all the microprocessor labs for ET 367, ET 466, ETIS 479, ET 566, and ET 567 as well as senior projects (ET 480C). The number of students in this lab has doubled in the last two years. This project proposes to acquire the equipment necessary to provide four additional stations to handle these students adequately. This project also requests upgrades for equipment and software in the microprocessor, advanced and networking labs in order to maintain currency with technological developments, including advanced development software for microprocessors, network system software, advanced network hardware, and programmable logic design software.
