Dear MTSU faculty,

You are invited to join a group of colleagues who will be discussing a series of readings about student resilience, resourcefulness, self-efficacy, emotional intelligence (including emotional management), the imposter syndrome, and assessment strategies, which are interrelated with issues of course design and delivery. The readings and discussions will apply the insights of Greg Lukianoff and Jonathan Haidt, authors of The Coddling of the American Mind, to specific instructional tactics that their broad criticism of overprotective campus climates does not pursue.

This group will be facilitated by Bill Levine and will meet three times via Zoom:
March 18, March 25, April 1

11 AM-12 PM
