Each year, MT Engage hosts a Summer Institute for MTSU faculty. This much-anticipated event includes an overview of MT Engage and its student learning outcome of integrative and reflective thinking, spotlights high-impact practices, and supports faculty in developing signature assignments and ePortfolio pedagogies. Surveys of past participants are overwhelmingly positive and indicate that faculty appreciate the opportunity to interact with and learn from colleagues from across campus.

This year's Summer Institute will be held via Zoom from 9-3 on Thursday, May 13 and from 9-noon on Friday, May 14. Select materials and a Summer Institute Survival Kit will be provided in advance, and participants who attend both days and submit a course certification form will receive a $500 stipend.

Any tenure-track, tenured, full-time temporary, and adjunct faculty who have not participated in a previous summer institute are invited to participate.

We have a limited number of seats available, and they tend to fill quickly, so please respond at your earliest convenience to reserve your spot.
