1. Check to see if you need to take the Academic Assessment Placement Test.

    Transfer students who have not earned college-level algebra-based math or English credits must take the Academic Assessment Placement Test provided by University Studies (a testing fee is charged). If you need placement testing, please call 615-898-2568 to schedule an exam time. You will NOT be able to register until all testing is completed and scored. If you are unsure if you need placement testing, check if you have a hold in RaiderNet (access via PipelineMT, click RaiderNet tab, then Student tab, and select Registration, then Holds) which indicates placement testing is needed.
  2. Send in your immunization records.

    Tennessee requires new full time students to provide proof of immunity to Varicella (chicken pox), measles, mumps, and rubella. — more info.
  3. Set up PipelineMT/RaiderNet username & password here. Click on "New User" and follow instructions provided.
  4. Set up MTSU email account here.
  5. Submit proof of citizenship if you did not complete this step during admission.

    The state of Tennessee requires proof of citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S. You may submit a FAFSA or valid driver's license, official birth certificate, or other proof of citizenship. — more info
  6. Review transfer credit evaluation.

    The Admissions Office will evaluate and place course equivalencies on your evaluation in RaiderNet (access via PipelineMT, click RaiderNet tab, then Student tab, and select Student Records, then Transfer Evaluation). If your transfer credit evaluation isn’t completed yet, you will be notified by email once completed. Until the evaluation is completed, a list of established equivalencies can be reviewed on the Transfer Equivalencies at Middle website.
