Engage Month Application

The Engage program seeks to create a culture in which students become actively engaged in their learning. For students to become more engaged in their learning, we must first create opportunities for them to become physically and psychologically involved in productive learning activities.

Engage Month focuses attention on the many opportunities available to students. Engage welcomes proposals from faculty, departments, colleges, and programs seeking funding for special events and activities that promote engaged learning.

Engage Month Funding Guidelines

Engage will co-sponsor events, providing up to $750 per event for approved proposals meeting the following criteria:

1) All events should be held during the month of October 2026.

  • No event will be held on October 10-13 (fall break) or on October 30.

2) All events should support a learning environment for students and should be free for students to attend.

3) All event marketing materials should mention “Co-Sponsored by Engage” and should be shared with the Engage office by September 1.

4) All events must be approved by the department/program head or Dean.

Application Process

Complete the Engage Month Event proposal form and submit to [email protected] by June 26, 2026.
