Numerous funding opportunities (both inside and outside of the General Education English Office) exist for instructors wanting to further their pedagogical growth. Please see the the Business Office’s Travel page for information on submitting Travel Authorizations and Travel Expense Claims.
Funding Opportunities for All Faculty (including GTAs)
Requests for funding will be considered throughout the fall and spring semesters, whenever the General Education English Committee meets. All requests should directly relate to either the General Education courses you teach or for the work you do for General Education English.
Please complete the General Education English Faculty Development Grant Form and apply well in advance of your proposed travel. You must submit a travel authorization form prior to travel and a claim for travel expenses when you return.
If you are considering attending a workshop or conference within driving distance and have limited transportation options, then you may consider applying to use a MTSU vehicle through the MTSU Motor Pool.
