Scholars Week is a week long tradition during which MTSU's academic colleges celebrate
scholarship, research, and creative activity through a variety of events and activities.
University-Wide Scholars Week Research & Creative Activity Exposition
Friday, March 24, 2023, Student Union Building (SUB) second floor Poster Session 1: 10:30 am-12:00 pm Lunch & Creative Performance Halftime Show: 12:00pm-1:00pm Poster Session 2: 1:00-2:30 pm Awards Ceremony: 2:30pm *Presenters will check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of their poster session.
Important Dates
February 1, 2023 - Presenter Registration Opens. Please note, you will need the following
to register: Title of presentation, abstract or project descritpion (300 words or
less), mentor's name and email, and desired presentation time (Options: 10:30-12pm
or 1-2:30pm).
February 28, 2023 - Registration Deadline. All abstracts must be submitted by 2/28
at 11:59pm to be considered for presentation.
March 1, 2023 - Email notification of acceptance to present will go out to all students.
March 24, 2023 - Research & Creative Activity Exposition

Highlights from the 2021 University-Wide Scholars Week Research & Creative Activity Exposition
April 12th-23rd, 2001
Virtual Exposition Symposium*, a virtual exposition, showcasing all Scholars Week research submissions
will go live on April 12th and be available to virtual guests through April 23rd.
*What is Symposium?
Scholars Week 2021, in conjunction with the in-person poster symposium, will be hosted
digitally via an engaging virtual platform called Symposium. Symposium will showcase
all Scholars Week academic posters and student presentations, along with the ability
for viewers to post comments and questions related to individual projects. Using synchronously technology Symposium will allow viewers to live-stream creative performances,
live in-person symposium interviews, and the awards ceremony.
March 30-April 3, 2020 Scholars Week is a weeklong tradition during which MTSU's academic colleges celebrate
scholarship, research and creative activity through a variety of events and activities. While the on-campus events had to be canceled due to COVID-19, were excited to announce
