Kubi Telepresence Robots
Say Hello to “Kubi” the TelePresence Robot
Encapsulating the very essence of virtual reality, members of the Jones College of Business now have the opportunity to remotly participate on any event being held at BAS building from a distance. Professors, guests, and students can now attend class lectures & events easily from any location. Kubi turns a tablet into a web controlled telepresence robot that pans and tilts, letting you look around and interact with people during video calls.
Kubi, meaning ‘neck’ in Japanese, is a portable robot that makes video conferencing more engaging by giving remote participants the power to pan, tilt, look around and interact during video calls. Use your preferred web meeting applications (Zoom, Teams, Skype) with the Kubi Control app to manage the interactive meeting experience .
