Grants

Dr. Richard Mpoyi has received several grants: 

  • Research:  Research Richard conducted in various countries, primarily in Europe (Belgium, England, France, and Germany) and Africa (DR Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana and Zambia) was funded by the Office of Equity and Compliance (2010, 2012), the Jones College of Business (2006), and the Faculty Research and Creative Activity committee (all from Middle Tennessee State University). Also, to do research here in the United States, Dr. Mpoyi was awarded grants by MTSU's Faculty Research and Creative Activity committee (1999, 2001)
  • Study Trips: Grants provided by the Faculty Development committe and the Jones College of Business help Richard to undertake field study trips to Japan (1999) and the European Union Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium (2002)
  • Experiential Journeys: Richard travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa (2013), and Gaborone, Botswana (2014) to participate in experiential journeys organized by the Africa Acamedy of Management. Financial support to cover the costs involved was provided by MTSU's Office of Equity and Compliance
  • External Grant Application: Financial support from MTSU's Proposal Development Program (PDP) helped Richard to seek external sources for grants (2005)
