Birth Control

As part of the gynecological exam, your provider will counsel you on birth control methods. We offer a wide range of birth control methods such as:

  • IUD – Mirena, Kyleena
  • Implant – Nexplanon
  • Injection – Depo-Provera
  • Contraceptive rings – NuvaRing, Annovera
  • Contraceptive patch
  • birth control pills
  • condoms

Because there is no one perfect method, your choice should be based on your priorities.  Some characteristics to consider side effects, effectiveness, cost, convenience, and STD/HIV prevention.  Your provider will help you decide which method is right for you. The costs are approximate and may vary from pharmacy to pharmacy.
