Facilities Student
Housing and Residential Life Facilities has two positions for students within their office. One that can be held all year round, Work Order Clerk, and one that is specifically for the summer, Student Painter/Maintenance Worker.
Work Order Clerk
Work Order Clerks respond to daily maintenance requests from Housing Staff and residents, enter the requests and determine their classification, stay in contact with Housing Facilities team to address needs, serve as a customer service representative, and assist in the functioning of the Facilities Office.
This position is an hourly paid position ($9/hour) with the opportunity to work up to 25 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters, and/or 29 hours per week in the Summer. The position is paid in a monthly direct deposit. This position requires a criminal background check including fingerprints, and will require HR Paperwork, which includes the necessity for a Social Security Card. International Students who don’t currently have a Social Security Card will be given instructions for how to obtain one.

Student Painter/Maintenance Worker
Student Painter/Maintenance Workers are Summer student workers that will provide help and assistance in a variety of tasks such as painting, moving, and clean-up of residential areas to prepare for the Academic Year.
This position is an hourly paid position ($12/hour) with the opportunity to work up to 29 hours per week, and requires applicants to be able to lift 50-75 lbs. No experience is required, but painting experience is a plus. This position will require HR Paperwork, which includes the necessity for a Social Security Card. International Students who don’t currently have a Social Security Card will be given instructions for how to obtain one.
