Summer school at Middle Tennessee is guaranteed to be a fast-paced academic experience. To assist you, Housing & Residential Life offers a limited number of spaces for Summer School Students in the Womack Lane Apartments, as well as offers continuous housing in Scarlett Commons Apartments for continuous students (conditions apply, see application for details).
Summer Application procedures – To apply for Summer 2025 on-campus housing, please complete the following steps:
Thoroughly read the Housing License Agreement, Summer 2025 Informational letter, and check-in and check-out information.
Complete and sign the Residential Life Application for Summer 2025.
Enclose the required summer prepayment of $175.00.
Return all materials to Housing and Residential Life at MTSU (Keathley University Center, Room 300).
Summer 2025 Term Continuous Occupancy Building Rates
Current Spring 2025 Womack Lane residents who make Summer application for the period of Full term and have an on-campus housing assignment for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 academic year at the time of Summer assignment and who apply to live on campus for Summer 2025 are considered continuous occupants. These residents are required to enroll in a minimum of at least one 3-hr Summer 2025 class.

PLEASE NOTE:
Current Spring 2025 residents of Womack Lane who make Summer application for the period of Full term are not guaranteed summer assignment to their Spring 2025 location. If necessary, an alternate assignment will be made and you will be required to move. We will know more about those impacted as the summer approaches and will keep you informed.
Financial Penalties are applied when: Students who have their Fall 2025 reservation cancelled for any reason will have financial penalties (change in rent charge to the noncontinuous full term charge of $1,475.00, forfeiture of prepayment, etc.) and may be asked to move from the assignment location.
All other students fall into the Non-continuous category:

(Assignment to Scarlett Commons for Summer 2025 will depend on availability. If space is not available, you will be assigned to Womack Lane.)

All Scarlett Commons residents must be enrolled in a minimum of three credit hours for Summer and have fees paid prior to Summer occupancy.
