We are now ONLY accepting IRB and IACUC submissions online !!!! Applications should be sent to compliance@mtsu.edu. Students must have their faculty mentor forward/email their applications to the compliance office with a statement of approval.

The Compliance Program for the Middle TN State University has a mission to enhance compliance consciousness for MT's workforce and student research by promoting the highest standards of ethics and integrity through awareness, training, education, monitoring, oversight, and appropriate responses to confirmed violations.Through this enhanced consciousness, compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and University policies is achieved.

The Office of Compliance not only furthers the mission of ethical research at MTSU, but also effectively and efficiently operates and/or provides direction and oversight for the following compliance departments/compliance efforts:

Please submit application in plenty of time for review. We suggest a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your study beginning. Those who qualify for full review must check the committee schedule.
