Master's Student & Project Associate

Macie is currently a project associate for the Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness (COHRE). She assisted in the administration and evaluation of the assessment for the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s promotional process. More recently, Macie has worked on a needs analysis for the Tennessee Department of Treasury focusing on the topics of planning, priority setting, and measuring and managing work. She also assisted consultants in the delivery of a HR Master Series Workshop for the Tennessee Department of Human Resources.
Prior to COHRE, Macie was a Consulting Project Manager for real estate brokerage, Blue Raider Realty. In this role, she honed in on her I/O knowledge by creating training programs, writing and documenting policies and procedures, and creating growth strategies. Administratively, she facilitated weekly meetings and managed scheduling and payment.
Macie’s research experience includes working under an I/O professor at Middle Tennessee State University as a research assistant. She worked on projects including examining the appraisal tendency framework and factor analysis of perceptions of ethical misconduct scale. Additionally, Macie completed an undergraduate senior thesis in which she developed a training program for women on workplace negotiation and communication skills
In May 2018, Macie graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Master’s Program at Middle Tennessee State University, planning to graduate in 2020.
