MTSU Campus Recreation

Club Sports

Club Sports are registered student organization that have been formed for the purpose of educating, competing, and/or participating in a particular activity or sport. Many Club Sports exist because of the desire to continue participation in a sport by students other than varsity athletes. Each club’s level of competition or activity is unique, and is dependent on club leadership. Club Sports are student-initiated, student-led and student-managed, providing an opportunity for the development of leadership and other life skills and to contribute to the overall college experience.

Club Sports are different from Intramural Sports in a few ways. Club Sports are student run with professional guidance and have the opportunity to represent the university by traveling and competing against clubs from other schools. Intramural sports only participate locally against other members of the MTSU community.” Check out the most detailed info as well as policies and procedures
