The MT Nutrition Team is made up of junior- and senior-level students in the MTSU Nutrition and Food Sciences program. We work together to develop programs, services, and events that provide nutrition education across campus. The Nutrition Team provides cooking demonstrations, support to Fitness programs, and is available for group presentations.
WHAT’S OFFERED
Our grant-funded nutrition cart has traveled all across campus (and off-campus) to provide cooking demonstrations around campus and at events. Cooking demonstrations are a great way to learn about food and drinks in a hands-on setting, while also learning some chef skills along the way!
Our Nutrition Team supports several other Campus Rec programs, and other events and programs on campus.
The Nutrition Team focuses on providing education to the MTSU Community and is able to give presentations on a variety of topics. This is a great way to receive credible and safe guidance on how to have a healthy diet.
