FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) & General Information
Click each question to expand and view the response.
Absolutely not! We welcome all experience levels and abilities into our classes and assure everyone can get a workout that matches their fitness level.
That being said, some classes will provide more challenge and intensity (like Cycle), but all our instructors provide several options to either increase or decrease the intensity as you need. We promote non-judgmental environments and always encourage you to work at your own pace and intensity to ensure you get a great workout and reduce risk for injury.
We do ask that you let the instructor know of any special considerations you may when you get to the class. This will help them help you!
Registration opens 48-hours on the dot before class start time.
For example, a Wednesday class at 6:15pm will open for registration on the prior Monday at 6:15pm.
Yes! You must register for each class you want to attend every week. Perks of this including being able to try different classes each week.
If it’s within business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm), you can call 615-898-2104 or 615-904-8473 for assistance. Please leave a voicemail with your name, M number, and the class details (name, day, and time) if there is no answer.
If you do not get a response in time or it’s outside of business hours, you’re welcome to drop-in to any class and ask the instructor to help you register (be advised Cycle and TRX® have limited spaces and may fill).
Possibly! You can show up to the class to see if someone cancels last minute or no-shows. Any un-reserved spots are first-come, first-serve. Any spots not filled by the start of class time (even if reserved) are open to drop-ins.
We will provide all the equipment!
Make sure to bring water (in a sealable container) to stay hydrated. We will let you know where the closest drinking fountains are in case you forget.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga or exercise mat.
Please set aside your phone and silence any notifications for safety reasons and to take the time to disconnect and focus on yourself – it’s a great opportunity to step away from technology and unplug for a little bit!
We know it can be disappointing when you are late and can’t join in the class. But we assure you, there are important reasons:
- In order to get the best workout and prevent injuries, a proper warmup led by the instructor is vital before any workout
- We review the workout and proper form for each exercise at the start of class, which is vital to keep everyone safe and on the same page
- We want avoid disruptions for the rest of the participants (especially in yoga classes)
- If you are not on time, a drop-in participant can take your spot so there may not be space for you
In addition to the reasons listed above, we need to check that each bike is properly set up. To keep it consistent, we do not make exceptions for those that know their bike adjustments.
Yes, but you will need to come in with that friend the day of the class to get them a Guest Pass. Make sure to arrive early as this can take up to 10 minutes at peak times. They will have to pay the Guest Pass Fee plus purchase the Single Class Pass.
